King vs. Superman

Defensive Player of the Year meets Most Valuable Player of the Year. Lebron had a monster weakside block against Dwight Howard. MVP 1 - DPY 0. Lebron went past Pietrus, then went up and posterized Dwight Howard. MVP 2 - DPY 0. Lebron Scored 49 to Howard's 30. MVP 3 - DPY 0. Lebron singlehandled demolished the Magic by halftime. MVP 4 - DPY 0. Lebron was simply amazing but the final score line that mattered, went to the DPY. Magic 1 - Cavs 0.

This was indeed witnessing something amazing. Lebron dominated the Magic through a series of jumpshots, long three pointers, breathtaking dunks, and swarming defense against the Magic which probably was one of the greatest playoff game by the King. The rest of the King's men meanwhile was horrible. Aside from the 67 foot heave by Williams, there was nothing too spectacular to watch from the Cavs offense and defense as of late. The Magic meanwhile relied on Howard early on and he responded with a clockshot demolishing dunk that delayed the game for 8 mins. But late in game Howard took a sit, gave the Superman's crew the driving seat and they delivered. But Hedo and Rashad Lewis was at their normal best, while Alston, Johnson, and Pietrus contributed mightily. But the difference maker was their three ball that punished the Cavs late in the game.

Eventhough the final scoreline might suggest that the Magic has the upperhand of the series, expect the Cavs to revitalize and demolish the Magic in game 2. Although the Magic can keep up with the mighty Cavs, I expect James to stop taking Long Jumpshots and punish the interior defense of the Magic leaving Howard in the bench with 6 fouls late in games.
