- 300 playoff games, 1 championship ring for each finger.
- 4 championship rings, 1 finally without the Big Diesel.
- 4 championship rings, two long balls that helped get the fourth one.
- A reject from one team, a champion in another.
- A soft big man, into a freakishly large big man.
- Injuries, foul troubles, poor play, still, Champion.
- Young players, journey men, and a son of a great hall of famer, now are champions.
- The X factor, becoming the Star of the show.
Truly, it has been one heartbreaking and fulfilling journey that have faced these young Los Angeles Lakers for the past few years. They have been dominant since the acquisition of Pau Gasol, but they came up just short last year. This time around, they continued their strong play, and coasted through the playoffs with a lot of hard earned battles against championship worthy teams. In the end, it was not about Kobe winning one without Shaq anymore. It was winning a championship with a completely new group of guys lead by two veterans who have won it all three times. The Orlando Magic have been spectacular in these playoffs fending off one contender and another. They have been consistently resilient but has gone through a lot of bad breaks. Still, they were poised and fought their way to their first finals victory in franchise history. But just like in the start, it was Kobe meeting his destiny. Another championship. Scary thing is, they are back again for next year.
