Guitar Lessons

Recently, I have been finding time to practice playing the guitar just to reach a point where I can play chords to make a song. It probably has worked well for me. I now know most of the basic cords and I can switch chords quickly. I also developed my skill on how to strum but overall it is a long way to go for me to accomplish my goal of playing songs through the song book or simply by listening. I can definitely see the potential of where I can go but for know I am taking it one song at a time. I learn through the you-tube videos which are not that helpful since there are a lot of versions of each song and I can't seem to see clearly the chords in the videos. But for now, I think I have learned one song which is the Huling El Bimbo by Eraserheads. It is a pretty cool song, and now I need to sing while playing so that I can be able to perform the entire song. Again, After I'm done with this, off to my new song which I haven't decided on yet.
